Sky Ranch Flyer Membership Our members range from beginners to advanced aerobatic R/C pilots and are of all ages. Annual membership to the Sky Ranch Flyers runs from January 1st to December 31st. Applications & dues received on October 1st or later, will provide membership through the following year. We offer a great resource for those interested in learning to fly, build models, or just hang out at the field. Membership includes: Use of flying field. Training (if needed). Meetings. Newsletters. Club Events. Helpful advice. Listing of your R/C "For Sale" items on the clubs website. Membership Types: Adult standard member:   Shall be older than 19 years of age as of July 1st of the current year, but less than 62 years of age. Junior member:   Shall be less than 19 years of age as of July 1st of the current year. Senior member:   Shall be at least 62 years of age. Family membership:   Shall consist of two or more individuals residing within the same address. Examples would includeMember   and spouse, Member and dependent, Member and parent/or grandparent, or Member and significant other. Non Flying Members:   Eligible to participate in all club activities, with voting rights, however cannot fly   Annual Membership Dues: Adult standard membership $75.00 Junior member $25.00 Senior member $25.00 Family membership $85.00 Non Flying Member $25.00 New Member Initiation fee $50.00 - Applies to all new members joining the club. Mandatory Grass Cutting Fee $25.00 - This fee does not apply to Junior, Non–Flying, Honorary, or “Elected” Grass Cutting Volunteers. Sky Ranch Flyer members must belong to the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) if you intend to fly a model aircraft at our field. The AMA is a governing body for radio controlled models which provides liability insurance, a monthly magazine called "Model Aviation", and is sincere in promoting the modeling hobby.
